About the Author
Dierdra "Didi" McElroy inherited her quilting genes from her mother, award winning quilter Roxanne McElroy. Starting out by helping her mother research quilting products, Didi quickly established herself not only as an expert hand quilter but as a high-demand quilt instructor and as an innovative creator of quilting products. With her mother, Didi founded Roxanne Products International, a company that creates new products and expert instruction for quilters, especially those who quilt by hand. She has taught at all major quilting venues in the United States and has judged hand quilting at major national and international quilt shows. Didi grew up in Tahiti and has run tours for quilters, giving them an insider's view of textile arts on the island.
